Resources for AWL (Academic Word List) and NAWL (New Academic Word List)
1. Just create an account with Quizlet and then you can access ALL the flashcards! Choose a set to work on each week, maybe. Test yourself and test each other outside of class!

2. Copy and paste any text (one you've written, or one you've read online, for example) into the box, select AWL as the WORDLIST and click GO.
Every word from the AWL will be underlined. This will help you focus on important academic words to learn.

3. Choose a SUBLIST and you can do online exercises and check your answers. Try to do a couple a week. Compare your results with each other. Tell me what you're finding difficult and we can discuss it in class!
